Overview

SecurityMinded provides various cloud-hosted software as a service (SaaS) security solutions. This page describes how SecurityMinded collects, uses, and processes personal information or personal data through use of our services.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

Service Data are provided to us by our customers and their end users in connection with our customers' user of the services. These data include personal information collected through MDM (Mobile Device Management) and Identity Management Platforms, e.g. Jamf, Intune, Okta, Azure AD, and Google Workspace. These are provided when they:

• Setup an account or login, providing their email addresses and name.
• Connect MDM or Identity Management (IdP) platforms, providing names, email addresses, phone numbers, public IP addresses, computer hostnames and IDs, and user agents.
• Contact support or otherwise correspond with us by phone, email or any other means.

Website analytic data (e.g. IP address and user agent) are provided to us by our customers and their end users in connection with our customers' user of the services.

We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via use of OAuth to access protected page, Google Forms that you submit, services provided on the site, and/or other direct contact from you.

We will not sell or rent any of this information to anyone.

We will use your information to provide services or respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request for products and or services or aggregated and anonymized for marketing purposes.

We will not contact you unless you specifically request us to or it is necessary and relevant to the products and services we are providing to you.

California Residents’ Privacy Rights

Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California have the right to request from a business, with whom the California resident has an established business relationship, certain information with respect to the types of personal information the business shares with third parties for direct marketing purposes by such third party and the identities of the third parties with whom the business has shared such information during the immediately preceding calendar year. To request a copy of such information, please contact us as described in the “How To Contact Us” section below, and we will respond within 30 days as required by law.

We do not, and will not, sell – as defined under CCPA – your personal information.

GDPR and UK Privacy Law

GDPR and UK Privacy Law gives you certain rights regarding your personal information. You may ask us to take the following actions in relation to your personal information that we hold:

1. Opt-out. Stop sending you direct marketing communications. You may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing emails.
2. Access. Provide you with information about our processing of your personal information and give you access to your personal information.
3. Correct. Update or correct inaccuracies in your personal information.
4. Delete. Delete your personal information.

Cookies

Three functional cookies are used. The "darkmode-enabled-sidebar", "darkmode-enabled", and "sidebar-open" cookies are used to set display preferences for the application.

One strictly necessary cookie, "X-Authorization", is used for authentication and authorization.

Website Activity

Google Cloud Platform, whom we use to host this site, automatically collects and stores the user's public IP address, user agent string (type of browser), page requested, and referrer (origin page of the request) for 30 days. We store a copy of those data for 1 year to perform security monitoring. These data are not shared with any 3rd party.

This web site may contain links to other sites (i.e. Auth0, SendGrid and Tines). Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

Google APIs

SecurityMinded's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Updates

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time and all updates will be posted on this page.
